Really nice little factory game! I liked the clean design and the tiny machine setup, it makes the whole factory feel fun to build up. Placing machines, rotating them, using conveyors, and upgrading everything is pretty satisfying, especially as the factory gets bigger and breakdowns start happening. For a 3 day jam game, this is a cool and enjoyable incremental idea. Good job!
Keep clicking with right click for a "delete on hover" features could permit to clean the board easier
For repairing , a keep clicking left click is easier , at a moment I feel in a clicker more than an idle
When I put a miner between 2 pipe , I prefer to see the miner splitting is production. currently he choose a pipe instead.
I agree with the comment that talk about a global stat view.
it feels that the infinite growth of the recycler could break the game , after juste 5 min I already divide by 4 the cooldown of every device. Maybe not reducing the miner cooldown could be the solution
Maybe ( but probably more complexe ) permit to choose the output of the device ( left , right or both ) in case of confusion
A device per device upgrade ( miner lvl 2 ) could add something fun too
oh, it finally clicked that all of these upgrade machines are contributing to a permanent total. it'd be nice to have this total shown somewhere and to have a nice visual when it goes up, maybe..
this is a fun game, arranging the machines and factoring in conveyors is a cool mechanic. the upgrades are cool, also. it's nice that you need to factor in every stage of production, and rearrange to prioritise them differently. its also nice that there's no penalty to a bad layout besides time (i.e. machines don't cost a currency to place) although it could be cool if you needed to craft machines maybe? so it felt more like the factory was feeding into its own growth beyond upgrades..
i'm having trouble understanding if machines are working, however and the lack of clear assets indicating the connected shape of each machine is also kinda a drag for how dense factories need to be..
my suggestions would be a new "active" machine sprite (could just change the color of the window) and maybe some kinda "joiner" sprite placed between each tile of a machine, perhaps (just like, a little dot between the two or something)
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, even though it's a little rough due to the limited time available during the game jam. I agree with your points - the game definitely needs more visual feedback and overall polish

Also, if you have time, I’d be really grateful if you could rate my Mini Jam game too: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-214-machines/rate/4750260
Nice concept but here is some suggestion :
the breakdown notice doesn't go away if you remove a machine while its broken..
i got the same bug sadly :(
